
Trent Futch, Director
Mr. Trent Futch is entering his fourth year of teaching as Director of Bands and Chorus at Banks County Middle School. Mr. Futch is from Bethlehem, GA in Barrow County and is currently a resident of Lumpkin County.

Mr. Futch is a graduate of Reinhardt University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. During his time at Reinhardt, he was heavily involved in many different ensembles. Mr. Futch was the principal trombone player in the Reinhardt Wind Ensemble, a member of the Reinhardt Jazz Band, the Reinhardt Low Brass Ensemble, the Reinhardt Screaming Eagle Marching Band, and the Reinhardt Concert Choir. Mr. Futch is also a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association and a member of the Georgia Wind Symphony where he plays trombone. During his time in college, Mr. Futch also taught private lessons, where his students went on to become top chair players in the highest bands at their school.

Under his direction, the BCMS Leopard Concert Band has received excellent and superior ratings at LGPE. Mr. Futch sincerely cannot wait to start another successful year at BCMS! Go Leopards!
